The Quick And The Angry
<<< PREV | FIRST | NEXT >>>
Nishi's Note:
Fuxie fell into a deep hole inside a dumpster while chasing down a gang called The Quick And The Angry. One of the members, Don Badge, finds her at the very bottom, and carries her off to a mysterious light with mechanical tentacle arms.
The whole second panel is flashbacks and stuff... I make these confusing enough as it is.

Uh-oh, poor Fuxie once again! Poor Don, too, really...He's digging for someone who's not there, and if he stays this far gone it'll probably get harder and harder for him to get the one he wants back. Maybe he half thinks that Fuxie really did hurt Anger, so that he wants to get vengeance on her by letting R4PE do whatever it's about to do, while hopefully retrieving the nice foxy lady unharmed at the same time. At any rate, I really like how you're letting the suspense build on what Don has planned for her! I've definitely learned to look forward to new Nishi comics in my submissions list! :)
Yipes! Fuxie has definately gotten herself in quite a bind this time. Worse of all, with no team to help her, I don't see any way she can keep those mechanical tentacles from working their magic on her.
At first, I didn't think Fuxie and Molly could at all be the same person. However, now, I just can't help but want to entertain the idea. The thought of Fuxie at one time being a kind-hearted nurse really would make for an interesting twist. If that was the case, the question would then be if Don's big scene in the hospital is the one thing that finally put her over the edge?
Though, if Fuxie and Molly are truly not the same, I fear our favorite, female mercenary may not be going anywhere for a long time. Worse of all, if those mechanical tentacles can brainwash, boy would it be weird seeing Fuxie suddenly believing she is Molly and siding with Don. *Cue dramatic music*
Oh, the possibilities... :)

Holy crap. This is...
Wow. Don has finally snapped.
Hats off to you, Nishi. BY doing the Don Badge flashback, the reader got to sympathize with him. This makes him so determined to... to well, to "rip out" something that's not there that we can see it as a tragedy, instead instead of yet another bizzare kidnapping plot. By showing how far he's fallen, we can see how much he's lost, and how desperate Don Badge has gotten. You have managed to make the reader care about both the hero AND villain.

He's definitely lost it. :3
But I'm glad I could make the reader have a bit of trouble knowing who to like, since a lot of stories pin up a villain and make it obvious, but most fights are just two people that oppose each other. (: Or at least it's how I thought I'd try to show it. :3

In the "Don Bondage" Comic, I noticed that Don was acting odder than usual when Fuxie appeared in it. He said Fuxie gave him a weird but familiar feeling. Then the idea of Fuxie being Molly suddenly popped in my head. I've been wondering about the question for quite a while.
So Fuxie is Molly?
