The Weavile looks great. Got the expression down really well. But you might wanna try some practice with the plusle. She'll get better with practice like you've gotten better with the weavile. A lot better.

Also the plusle is missing a leg, a trick to this is to make a waypoint in the direction you want them to face, like a dot, and then making the straight lines on her point in the direction of that dot, it keeps the perspective up and adds to the realness of the drawing.

Yeah, there's a reason all of my recent stuff was uploaded to scraps. They're just pencil sketches. I am mostly trying to get the general pose down. Once it goes through Flash, I can address any of the concerns there.

I appreciate the input, but I really wasn't looking for critique on this set of scraps. Just sort of sharing them.

It's fine. Quite often I do like to at least be aware of my mistakes, but often times stuff to my scraps, particularly those done in pencil, are just meant to be placeholders. The hardest part for me to draw in any art is the poses and stuff, so sometimes being able to get even just rough ideas down in pencil is beneficial to me.

When I read this story, I thought Arta and Elly were gonna live and love happily ever after. I did not expect a lesbian Romeo and Juliet story with a Pokémon flavor to it. I'm not saying you're a bad writer, it's just a bit anti-climactic for me. Also, I'd like to see some pictures from previous chapters - maybe a scene showing Atra and Elly mating? *looks at the above picture again* *blink* Besides that, the picture doesn't fit the story: In the story, Elly was on Atra's chest when she died, not off to the side like she is in the picture - unless Atra shaking like the San Andreas with epilepsy shook her off!

Ah, yeah. I wanted the story to be a bit darker, because the story I wrote immediately before it was a fluffy, happy ending sort of story, but in all honesty, decision to have things end the way they ended came only at the start of the final chapter. I still stand behind how I took things, but I can understand where it would be less than satisfactory to a lot of people.

You're right, though, Atty and Elly weren't even like that. Unfortunately, as I was doodling this in the park to pass some time, I didn't really have the story available to me. :( Ah well, chances are I'll just leave this a doodle then. X3
