So I fought with myself on this one for hours despite how simple it is. I was messing around with gradients but no matter what I did it didn't look right until eventually, I realized I'd created an optical illusion at which point I ditched the gradient all together. Despite the simplicity the shape and placement have a lot of symbolism and I think it suits the character nicely.
