I remember, when I was drawing this, the roommate walked in... and in that moment, it hit me.
By drawing a cartoon animal with a basketball, I am practically begging for Lola Bunny comparisons.
But, Space Jam was actually a good movie so I'm totally okay with that.
2018 art, featuring Lena, showing off her sporty and athletic side a bit--I tend to draw a lot of soccer balls since that seems like a good sport for a mixture of races (some of which may have horns, making it a bit dangerous to play contact sports like American football with), and even feral sorts could get into playing alongside their anthro counterparts if they tried, but Lena's into basketball.

Nah, the roommate is actually more of a furry than I am!
He and I actually first started interacting because he found my art on DA years ago. Of course, he was more interested in the occasional babyfur/"animal in diaper" art I draw, than my "girls posing pretty" art, but we still hit it off quite well.
