2018 art, just felt like designing a chubby "mad scientist" type character, and this was the end result.
He's some sort of strange not-quite-hyena creature with a robot arm, that likes tinkering with computers, robotics, prosthetics, and has an interest in cybernetics and cyborgs.
Character trivia: I doodled the original sketch while watching some of Dan Bell's "dead mall" exploration on YouTube. One of the recurring stores in these dying malls is a chain called "Boscov's", which is where I got the working title from. Sounds like a generic "cartoon mad scientist" name, but is subject to change (mainly because I don't know if it's a real name, or something trademarked).
Hopefully he's just testing that hologram projector by projecting a sphere to see how it handles various three-dimensional shapes, and he's not designing a planet-destroying superweapon of some kind...
