To Anther,
Sorry for not responding for so long, I read your letter the moment it came, then I read it again and again, I needed some time to wrap my head around all of this, and even more time to get the words right. The first time I read it I thought of what Father would think of it, the second time I thought of Mother, then the other great houses, the Flame, our people. I thought of what every single person would think other than the people who actually mattered. I know you Anther, with each of these letters you’ve not only gotten happier but I can tell you care about your life so much more, and that didn’t change in your last letter. I know now that this change doesn’t stop making you, you. I love you Anther, and the fact that you’re a girl doesn’t change that, nothing will. And I’m so proud of you for figuring out who you are. I guess this means you're my dearest sister now.
