Hey everyone! Since I'm busy on a mobile game project and I don't get to show you all that artwork yet, I'll try to do smaller personal and gift paintings as often as I can so that I can still interact with you all, and I'll post more WIPs to show you all little bit of my process.
This will be a painting for my Uncle's birthday and since I'll be dealing with unnatural colors in this painting, I've decided to solve the basics in black and white, later overlay the colors and then have it all come together in detailing.
Often I do start with color if I am confident in my initial idea or I have clear references. Here, I'll have to figure it out as I go.
