Did you use markers for the coloring of this? If so, what kind of markers, and how easy do you feel that they are to work with? I am considering working with different medias..and am ever curious..

I used prismacolor markers over Micron pens, with thinned gesso for highlights. I love the Prismacolors, but they seem to work best for me on bristol, without too much bleed. I find the marker paper to be terribly flimsy.

Yep! I use them in pretty much all of my watercolor paintings, and recently, in the start of the kimono wolf I posted a few days ago.

Depends on the brand. I have the prismacolor ones, but they seem to vary by color as to how nice they are. I recently bought a nice big set of Faber Castel ones (half off at AC Moore! Wooty!), which have been easier to work wit, less waxy, and better with layering. I still like to use regular colored pencils to bring out darks, though.
