This was inspired by the upcoming Channel 4 programme "Our Baby: A Modern Miracle" where it covers a transgender couple having a surrogate baby during the pandemic.

Now, believing it was mostly about having a baby during COVID-19, that got me thinking to Leona of  kevinandkell, who herself conceived a baby during lockdown, and then that proceeded me to thinking of the other pregnancies covered in the webcomic series* and so I thought, out of the 5 mothers of the story, who is considered as the mother of the real miracle baby?

1. Kell, for a carnivorous bunny
2. Tammy, for a firefly-moth hybrid
3. Danielle, for a child that no one could identify then turned into a human.
4. Lindesfarne, for all the trouble she had with N.O.P.E during her pregnancy, and right up to her going into labor.
5. Leona, for managing to conceive a baby during the pandemic...and not just with a rhino.

Course, the main twist is all the nominees are hybrids in one form or another.

(* = I didn't include Corrie as not only her origin resulted in the untimely death of her mother, but she was the original to her clone, Dolly, so that doesn't count, and nor is Fiona included as her miracle was alien given, then she lost it curing Y2K)
