I always wanted to try out my roommates Oculus device. One day when he left to grab a few things at the supermarket and had left it out in the living room, I decided to give it a try. It was a interesting experience. It was the first time using anything like it. I played a couple of quick games when another game caught my eye. There was this game called Bird Simulator 2020. I figured why not give it a try. It had some hours logged into it already, though I’ve never seen my roommate use it. Probably when I was out. Not a big deal, wasn’t really saving.

I picked a crane out of many other options. I could see the beak in front of my face. “Wow it looks so real” I said out loud. I looked down at my body. “Huh, birds don’t normally have breast... “must be a weird mod my roommate must have downloaded” I wasn’t going to judge as I looked at the feathers all over my naked avatar. I knew in real life I was still dressed. “Wow I look so pretty” I thought to myself. I looked at my wings as I flipped them. It was almost like I could feel them. I knew my arms were still my arms but the way I moved and how the air resistant felt... different. I flew and pretended to eat fish. I couldn’t believe I was having fun.

I looked back as I craned my neck and could see tail feathers. It was neat. I bend down on my knees as a preamp told me too do so. I was being fed again. It was like some wildlife sanctuary level where a human was find me. I must have been there for a good while because I heard the front door open and my roommate come in. He called my name in shock for some reason. Probably upset I’m using his oculus without his permission...
