couple of months ago i've stumbled into this amazing field of wild garlic, i couldn't resist to take a picture, but i've lost it and only found it yesterday
many flowers that grows in the forest ground, especially bulbs plants like snowdrops, usually tend to appear before the regrowth of foliage, but unlike these plants, wild garlic can tolerate dark places, so it grows more lately.
the latin name of this plant is allium Ursinum, which should translate in bear's garlic, and... yes you can use is bulb as regular garlic, but is much smaller, if you take a leaf you'll easily notice it's very strong scent
garlic, togheter with onions, is poisonus to both cats and dogs, as it damages blood cells, i believe is kind of appropiate for it's aspect to vaguely remind me of the Lily of the valley, an extremely poisonus monocotyledon plant with small white flowers
