Thankfully, we are on a boat in a small channel, so not much reeling in. They fight a lot, but usually, the problem is getting them in without them snapping the line. Very aggressive, haha.

Nice Pike/Muskie.

It's a Chain Pickerel. So, basically a smaller version of a Muskie and a Pike c: What I would give to go Muskie fishing though, free. Should look up Grass Pickerel. So adorable. Big and vicious >:O

Pickerel here is what the americans call Walleye. Grass pike, Nothern Pike, Muskie, Grass pike are the same species with difference markings and sizes. Have all of them here, most people call the smaller ones "manches a marteau" or hammer handles since you don't get much out of them since there are so many bones. I've caught a few 40+ lb Muskie. I think the largest was caught on great slave lake at 69 lbs. Largest Northern Pike i've caught was 29lbs.

Yeee, in Canada Walleye are completely different fish. Muskie are amazing though, I can't imagine catching a 40+lbs one haha.

Exhausting comes to mind and it's catch and release.

Dardevle's are red and white, but those work great for pickerel too :D That one is a five of diamonds (at least that is what we call it around here). Pickerel are a lot of fun. They give a good fight!

Oh man, Northern Pike would be so much fun. Pickerel are like a half-sized version of them. I always find Five of Diamonds and Dardevele's work on pretty much everything (given the season). I am sure you'd catch a pike on it :D
