Before I say anything, I want to send a shout-out to my boy Chakra-X



Your animation work on the Nazo Unleashed saga redefined how a generation of Sonic fans looked and thought about the series. It continues to inspire and impress to this day. It’s a landmark piece of Sonic fanwork, and I bow to your commitment and ability in seeing that project through.



So, onto this one. I poked around my Gallery recently and noticed that I had no pictures of Shadic to call my own. I know I’ve jotted the main man down on a napkin a few times or on the margin of some paper while I was sitting in class, but up until now, I never really sat down and tried to draw the Ultimate Fusion Character.



That ends now.



“WHO ARE YOU?! ARE YOU SONIC OR SHADOW?!”



So here he is in all his Chaos Glory. Of course, I had to drop the mike and lead off with Hyper Shadic – cause why not. I honestly just wanted an excuse to play with his rainbow aura. I’m actually super stoked about how that came out. I learned quite a bit working with Infinite’s aura a while back and I think it shows here.

The background was a lot of fun too. I wanted a nice tall grassy field on the edge of Angel Island. Shadic is hunkered down ready to blast off and bring the fight to some poor unlucky soul who was foolish enough to challenge his godlike might.



Goku and Vegeta can eat their hearts out.



Man, just looking at this gets me pumped. I gotta go back and watch Nazo Unleashed again. C-X you take as much time with that sequel as you need bro. I for one know it’ll be worth the wait.

(I still have no idea how you do such massive projects on your own. WHATS YOUR SECRET!)



Till then, I’ll just have to hold myself over by drawing Super Charged Hedgehogs wrecking up the place. ^^
