Yeah, everyone seems to be under the impression that I was forced by peer pressure to do this. x3 I just thought it'd be a good idea to change it up. I did rush through it, but that was mostly because I was tired of drawing. :P So yeah, I did enjoy drawing this, for what it's worth.
I really like the way you drew her tummy. It gives her a nice softness, and a more average sort of figure, without turning her into a parody, or something negative. (Which is not to say I think you would, you understand.) And I actually think it makes her every bit as cute as any of the thinner girls you've drawn. I love her face, and especially those nice, long whiskers.
As others have pointed out, her pose does look a little bit stiff. Her arms, in particular should maybe be bent a little more. But, for a first(?) attempt at something pretty far outside of your normal body of work, I think you did a wonderful job. You deserve a gold star both for the art, and just for pushing yourself to try it.

I am quite aware that her pose is very stiff, but like someone above said, I wasn't putting much effort into it. Her face was my main concern. I think I'm going to try another like this tomorrow, but focus on it more as a full illustration, rather than something done quickly.
And no, she wasn't meant to be a parody. x3 I have no problem drawing her body type. Just not my preference, is all. :3 Glad I didn't offend

I honestly didn't mean to harp on the pose issue. All I meant to say was that while it's noticeable, it's not something worth worrying about since this is the first time, that I've seen anyway, that you've done something like this. Plus, it's only a really small issue anyway. I apologize if I hit a sore spot here.
And I didn't think you meant for her to be a parody. In fact, I think it's pretty plain that you made a point of showing a chubbier figure in a fairly realistic way. It's just that I'm used, in furry art, to seeing people draw fat characters to focus on the fat, as a fetish, and not on drawing different figures. So I thought it was refreshing to see a character that looked real for a change.

lol, whoops. Sorry if I was coming off as sore. I wasn't ^^;
And thank you. I agree about the art of larger characters focusing on their fat rather than the character. I like my art to feel natural and modest. Something I'm definitely still working on, but it's one step at a time. :]
