A rather late Christmas present to a friend of mine.
Long story short, since I've known him he's had a little RP joke online where he uses these magical sandals that he's named "Sandals of the Dizzy Dragon". They cause the wearer to become dizzy and disoriented. But only if that wearer is a dragon... I hate those vile torturous devices so much! >.=.>
I'm actually pretty pleased with this pic. Think I'm getting better at doing more realistic shading, versus my usual dark rather harsh shading that doesn't really make any sense XP. As well as getting better at making poses look more natural. (Despite how unnatural this pose is )
And for some reason I'm just extra happy with the tail... it just looks good. Much more form to it, instead of the usual stringy/scragly one I seem to draw.
And that's all I have to say about this one.
Tools of the trade: pencil sketched, inked, scanned and colored in Photoshop.
Time taken: Not sure on the pencil part (I wasnt paying attention) But the inking and coloring took about 3 hours, one sitting. Then I added the flying sandals the next day (though I wasn't watching the clock on that one)

Yeah, I'm trying to stop being lazy and get used to drawing the wings. I mean what kinda dragon would I be without wings? ;P
*loves his wings*
Though I don't think the sandals would help much with balance. They use magic to force the user into becomming dizzy. Not much of a way to counter that short of more magic or uber tech. ;p
Glad you liked it though ^.=.^

What horrible torture devices are these?! Dizzying dragons, that's just cruel...not like we're all bad *shifty eyes* I swear i didn't step on that house!
*chants an anti-dizzy spell on Neos* Take 'em off before I -*passes out*
So i'm not so developed in maintaining spells yet! *grumbles*
Anywaaay...nice pic, pose and such...Neos looks odd in footwear...btw, who put those evil things on you? I don't think a dragon would place such evil things on their feet willingly. Anyway, great job as always, wings look great on ya!
