Another new character from 2018, Jenaro, a fat hyena man who looks like he just stepped out of some late 20th century TV show.
I did actually give him some thought as a character--he's nerdy little hyena boy Leoncio's father, and I also gave him an equally pudgy wife later on.

He's even got a pudgy, sassy wife to have comedic exchanges with! Not sure if you're old enough to remember "Married... With Children" but that's sorta the vibe I get from these two--he's a bit more cheerful and energetic than Al Bundy typically is, but I can see him having that same general energy to him. His wife kinda reminds me of the wife from that show too, at least in terms of hair color and how I expect her voice would sound and her overall personality would be.
I have yet to decide whether or not he works in sales of some sort, or at a funeral home, though--I like the idea of the family business being a funeral home (because hyenas), but he's so broke he uses the hearse as the family car as well when it's not being used in funeral processions!

Very true! I don't just want to copy-and-paste my comment from above, but I did describe a certain sitcom he and his wife remind me of, and some minor details that might actually make him an interesting--if not a bit odd--character.
With all the other themes I play with, characters whose lives play out like sitcoms wouldn't be out of the ordinary at all--it seems like the majority of my characters are either living in a sitcom, a cartoon, an action movie, or Star Wars.
