5 - At this time Spike was very very innocent and very close to his mother and quiet. He never seen his father who died right before his birth. He is constantly in fights with Kane (he's missing a tooth here from Kane punching him in the mouth).

13 - Kane killed their mother when he was 10. He is very upset with his brother but he is all he has and is being watched, cared for, and protected by Kane and develops a stronger bond with him even though he is the cause of their mother's death. He keeps a picture of his mother close to him on a necklace charm.

17- by this age Spike is so influenced by Kane's bad habits that he takes on them as well. He's still soft at heart but has a mouth of a sailor and an attitude to boot. He's not first to jump into a fight like Kane is but that doesn't mean he doesn't have the ferocity to do so. Unlike Kane he doesn't use women, he just wants a damn WOMAN!

25 - Kane has left him a while ago so he's been on his own, lonely and doing horrible with his life. he went on to start a band with his old pack and it flopped. He lives with some of his female friends as a basement dweller trying to get by with life. He gains the same eye trait as Kane but it's due to stress in his life.
