All those years of singing have taught Chanticleer a thing or two about breath control. His favorite candy is bubble gum, and he's managed to blow some big bubbles in his time. In fact, he won the bubble blowing contest at the Davidson County Fair back in 1940, when he was 10.
Chanticleer managed to buy as much Dubble Bubble as he could get his hands on before leaving Cartoonia to go fight against Disney, and it's one of the many things that reminds him of home. He even shares his stash with Goldie from time to time. She's working on blowing bubbles, but she can't get them nearly as big as Chanticleer's. Still, she loves it when Chanticleer blows a big one, in addition to his beautiful singing.
He generally uses five pieces at a time, but can fit way more than that in his beak. He certainly doesn't mind it if some gum from a popped bubble gets stuck in his hair or feathers.
This bubble that Chanticleer is working on is now 38 inches in diameter, about half his height.
