Digging back into the Fairy Tale Parade well here, it's Walt Kelly illustrating the Grimm fairy tale of The Travelling Musicians, or the Bremen Town Musicians if you prefer, as I do. Kelly's version starts on page 39 of https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=20601 and if you read any of these, I'd recommend it. It shows a lot of Kelly's personality touches and reads as closer to Pogo than, like, his version of ``Cinderella'' did. So this is my first full donkey, putting aside that Wendy-with-a-donkey-head a couple weeks back. Donkey legs are hard. If you look on page 40 the first panel, top row, is a pose that's great but that I didn't think I could do without several warm-up attempts, so here's a substitute.
