Topic 4.5.C3, sometimes called "christmas beetle", was originally one of the massive mutant christmas beetles found amongst the wastelands around the facility. They do not normally prey on humans nor do they stand 9 foot tall with human-like intelligence. 4.5.C3 is completely infested with a fungoid parasite that has completely rearranged its body structure and mental capacities to become more human-like. Reasons for this are unknown, reproduction of infection is not viable at current stage due to lack of trained staff.

4.5.C3 has been identified as female, and it is not recommended for staff to approach before feeding or when it "looks like she needs attention", reminder that fraternizing with Topics unnecessarily is a punishable offense.

4.5.C3 was discovered by a scouting team around the edges of the ruined city, scouting team were drawn in by a "buzzing" voice, report states that in the meeting of the involved parties, 4.5.C3's fungoid section devoured one member of the two party team and forced itself on the other for sexual gratification. When the scout was finally released from under it, 4.5.C3 happily followed the surviving scout back to HQ and has since been captured.
