Okay down to the point, this is a comparison between Maj. Clarence Skunkworth (left), and his older brother Col. Jack "Northrop" Skunkworth. The main difference between these two, aside from the fur pattern, is their ranks/division. Clarence is an air force pilot, whereas Northrop is a Marine Corp. pilot.
