I had wanted to try my hand at a portrait, as it had been some time since I'd done one. I felt that a terrier would be a good fit for an older-looking military character. It didn't quite turn out how I wanted, but it was a pretty fun project!

Haha xD Thanks for the feedback! I was mainly referring back to paintings and photos of soldiers from the victorian period to try and get a feel for it. If I could go back and start frtom scratch, I think I would've opted to include more of the torso or maybe even make it a full-length portrait. Fiddling with the different textures was equal parts annoying and fun! Definitely looking to learn more about textiles going forward.
