Ryker is a trouble maker who got himself black listed from most Wizard colleges after an incident left a few staff and faculty a little more singed than they had been before. He doesn't have total control over his fire abilities yet alone basic magic, but he'll need to get a lot stronger if he wants to vanquish the Voidsoul Genasi Alessandro Delarossa and the army he's building.

Part of a totally homebrewed campaign ran by one of my friends. In it when a Genasi die their body collapses in a way that's relevant to their element (Water melts, Air evaporates, etc) until the core remains. This core can be refined into a gemstone that can be utilized as a power source, the strength of the Genasi in life determines the strength of their gemstone in death. Delarossa is hunting other Genasi to use them for their powers, trying to fill the void that his dark elemental manifestation has created in him.
