Her name is whispered throughout classrooms and playgrounds, a name that terrifies not just children but also adults as well.

A terror that lurks throughout the forests and underneath your very boots...

This is the story of Spindly The Elf.

Under a bridge in Diamond Park, waits a lonely Elf named Spindly. No one knows for sure how long she's been there but is known is that she's been waiting for a friend to return to her one day after a game of Hide N' Seek, but as much as she hoped, her friend didn't show up. Spindly began to ponder many thoughts, whether she was still looking for her, if she had died, or had simply forgotten her. The questions had plagued her nonstop as days turned to months and months turned to years. The Elf was but a child when she waited but now, she's an adult frozen with a broken mind lost to time. However, one day, The Elf had learned of a shocking revelation that would change her life for good...

The Elf's friend had left her under the bridge on purpose so that she could live her own life without her. The friend would grow up as well, making new friends as well as starting a family all while Spindly was left to rot. Upon realizing this, a great wave sorrow began to overtake Spindly. For years she had waited, wasting all of her life on a friend had long since abandoned her and left her to rot under a bridge while the world changed around her. The sorrow would then transform into a burning rage, one that would give way to an unquenchable bloodlust as thoughts of revenge and violence clouded her already broken mind.

It was here that all the joy that Spindly had felt had died and a new path of bloodshed and murder would open up for her.

Now the Elf roams the very lands that both she and her friend had played in, seeking vengeance on the one who had wronged her in the first place. It's said that those who wander in Diamond Park or tread the very birdge Spindly waited underneath for years late at night, a gruesome end would befall upon you.

A new saying has been made from the locals...

'Don't dwell at night for too long, lest the broken elf finds you.'

Yep, I'm gonna be doing my own SU AU but with some twists. Gems in this AU are biologically immortal (Immune to diseases) but they are mainly human, meaning they can still die physical wise. Now for Spinel, I really thought it would've been interesting to have her not just be a twisted jester with a scythe but also have an Urban Legend-type story similar to Candyman or Spring-Heeled Jack.
