It's really done, tho.
There are some truly awful typos and a couple of minor inconsistency issues that I'll be fixing in a final, single-file version of the story in case anyone wants all 500-some-odd pages in one go. Also, I've got a mind to do an altered version with a different romantic interest - we'll see how that goes!

An excellent end to this wonderful tale.
A fitting end for our villain as well!
Everything worked out for the best in the end!
I can absolutely see Dev ripping Lucifer a new one in the car. He's absolutely the ONLY one I can see actually doing that and getting away with it! XD
The reunion with everyone was beautiful! I knew Beel would be the first one to hug her like that. Honestly surprised he didn't accidentally mash her wings! XD
The summary of what follows was cute and really well thought out.
All of the bros got a happy ending. :)
Elle and Lucifer happiest of all, of course. :)
Also, those final few lines.. A masterful take on happily ever after.

Ah, # If you decide to do an altered version, rather than rewriting the entire story, you could do a short "What-if?" style tale where you hit the high points of what happened differently. Of course, I imagine a LOT would change and it would likely be fairly lengthy on its own! XD

Ah, # If you decide to do an altered version, rather than rewriting the entire story, you could do a short "What-if?" style tale where you hit the high points of what happened differently. Of course, I imagine a LOT would change and it would likely be fairly lengthy on its own! XD

My original thought was to actually have Dev on the way to the House of Lamentations and confront Lucifer at the door, wings out, trying to have his 5’5” ass be threatening to this family of basketball players, but it didn’t quite work out with the say the story was flowing; so, I just had to tack a little note in there so that everyone KNOWS that he gave Lucifer the what-for.
The aside with Mammon was actually my idea for writing him as the slightly-less-scummy main romantic interest, but I scrapped that pretty early on. I still liked the idea of accidentally building the Devildom’s OCC/CFPB/etc.Yes, I’ve worked in financial services; how can you tell? Even though I didn’t like him as the main, I wanted them all to get a happy ending, in their own way. And I’m glad you liked the final; I wanted “happily ever after” without being quite so direct, lol.
I compiled it into one document to re-proof read and send to a friend, and it’s 575 pages and approx 220,000 words. You deserve some sort of award and I appreciate youuuuuuu. That said, it’s absolutely not my intention to re-write the whole thing, but to start around chapter 28 (where Beel tells Elle that she’s like a sister) and make edits in another color. That way, if you’ve already read the main story, you can skim through and find what changed in context. I may also add some sort of code in brackets so that you can ctrl+F in the event there are big swathes of story that are the same.
