Can you imagine how expensive it is to maintain this kind of car? Let's see... how many batteries does it have? Not too cheap. Also, good luck finding someone who can actually work on it if it breaks-down in the middle of nowhere. LOL!
Personally, I rather like being able to work on my own car... even though it's a *ahem* Saturn. Hey, at least it was built in the U.S.A.! Come to think of it, I rarely ever have to work on it because it's so damned dependable. In the eight years that I've owned it I have had to do the following to it: two batteries (apparently, I don't drive far enough to keep it fully charged), spark plug wires, plugs, points (LOL! J/K), oil, windshield washer fluid... I know I'm really stretching it now but hey, I can't think of anything else that I have had to do to it to keep it running. Of course, it only has just over 48,300 miles on it, so...

You know why I hate the Prius? It may be eco-frendly to drive, but it sure as Hell is not to produce. All the low-lifes that drive one say "Oh! Look at me I'm saving the environment!! Yay!"
But what they do not factor in is this:
The nickel for the batteries is mined in Canada, then that nickel is shipped to Norway to turn the nickel into battery cells, then those batteries are shipped to Japan to put into the cars.
The fucking car's already done 2 million miles and polluted half the air before you even pay the ridiculous price for it at the dealership!
