I'm not sure if the effect is wanted on this one, but your lines behind the hair (In front on the sides) are still visible. The face lines.
I do believe the shadow would be to one side or the other, lest the object putting off the shadow would be further from the wall. (But, I'm no pro at shadows. I'm still learning myself).

i'm going to be polite here and say that if the picture does not have the 
in the comment section, then please thats not what i'm looking for. This was a quick doodle and colour. I wasn't making a huge effort to make a masterpiece.
Next time perhaps ask first if there is critique needed/wanted.

well its kind of odd you say the face lines are in the hair. I"m looking i'm not seeing it. Do you mean the eyes and the eyebrows? ever look at anime? its how they do it. its just the style. If you look at most of my other art, even in my comic thats how I do it. I like how i get negative criticism on things that i always do in my art.
