ALFYN: That's actually pretty nice. I wasn't sure what to expect, but wow. This Honston guy must be really classy to have a guest suite like this.
RESPONSE .... Yeah, it almost puts the ship to shame.
ALFYN: Haha, well, no need to be nice. It definitely puts the ship to shame. Look, a minifridge!
RESPONSE .... This note says use as desired. No charge. Well then.
ALFYN: No wonder Bo'robeir recommended this guy.
RESPONSE .... A free suite, with free food and drink. This almost feels like a vacation.
ALFYN: Pricey drink too. Look, they've got the good stuff in here. Maybe this won't be so bad.
RESPONSE .... I wonder how long we'll be here.
ALFYN: Bo'robeir didn't give much to go on. He said Honston could take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks before he showed up, but that we'd be safe here while we waited. From what he told me, this Honston guy uses this facility like a formal safehouse and regularly lets his contacts stay in the suite while they wait for him. Apparently he deals with contracts throughout a dozen solar systems.
RESPONSE .... I have concerns, Captain.
ALFYN: About Bo'robeir? Me too.
RESPONSE .... Yes, and the ship. It has pulled out of port. I cannot contact my onboard cases.
ALFYN: Oh right. You seemed like you were getting used to utilizing all your different bodies, and now you're stuck in just one. Sorry.
RESPONSE .... It's fine. It's just, weird. I had hoped to use them to keep tabs on the ship. I hadn't expected it to move out of range. Do you think Bo'robeir is planning something?
ALFYN: Oh, I'm sure he's planning something. I just don't know what.
RESPONSE .... Should we go back?
ALFYN: Well, I don't see how honestly. If you can't contact your onboard bodies, that means my comm link isn't going to reach them either. We're kind of stuck until they come back in range.
RESPONSE .... I don't like that. What should I do?
ALFYN: I suppose we make the best of it, for now. Whatever Bo'robeir is planning, I don't think he'll just outright ditch us.
RESPONSE .... Bo'robeir is my friend, but of my friends, he is the one I trust least. I still get nervous when he does maintenance on me.
ALFYN: Probably safest to keep a watchful eye on him. That's why I asked Felix to stay behind with him, keep an eye on things for me while we're gone. And besides, your skepticism is a blessing - If you feel that way, even if you can't contact your other bodies, it means that they feel that way too. You might not be able to see what's going on with the ship, but have some faith in yourself, because even though you're here with me, part of you is still there, doing exactly what you would do.
RESPONSE .... That's reassuring. Thanks Captain.
ALFYN: Of course. I have my concerns too, but with you and Felix keeping an eye out, I can rest easy.
RESPONSE .... Are you going to bed?
ALFYN: Yeah, I'm going to catch some shut eye. Today's been stressful, but this bed looks amazing. I put your charging port on the wall over there if you need to juice up while I'm out.
RESPONSE .... I'll keep an eye out while you rest.
ALFYN: I know you will. Thanks Meikkiel.
RESPONSE .... Good night Alfyn. Pleasant dreams.
