Sorry it took me so long to respond to this. I was just waiting for a moment when I could write a good comment about it, free of distractions and all. Unfortunately gryphons are procrastinators by nature and I kept forgetting. Anyhoo...

This is some seriously nice work. And that's not just lip service. The image is very well balanced with it's cemetrical(sp) triangle shape, but your lines easily move the eye across the image w/o drawing too much attention to one area. In particular, I really like how the colorful color on the right, is balanced by the details of the blue tail on the left. And, just how much you were able to work into the image w/o it looking cluttered is equally nice.

I know you've asked in the past for critique instead of just blind praise, but there really isn't anything in the image I see that needs improvement, other then the arbitrary 'we can always do better next time' The line work is solid, the costume is great, and yeah I'm sure you may have had references or description to go on, but your rendition is nice. The color's great as well. Simple, but you can see the skill in the shading and there's plenty of depth in it.

I wanted to get you to do a badge for me when you first posted you were taking offers for pet badges. Sadly I don't currently have any. Makes me wonder if you'd consider possibly doing zombie or ghost pets in the image, since mine have past on. Either way. I'll get back to ya with a details about that later. Point is.. very very nice badge. :)
