Rederik Wood has gone through a lot of phases in his life, from being a sprite-based recolor of Bass from megaman named Shadow Scrub, to a Bass edit, to a custom, to finally becoming a custom sprite called Rederik Wood, who was not a Deku Scrub at all. Now, Earth Day 2010, Rederik's birthday, I give his life yet another chapter in his changing looks. May the God of Plants never lose his steam, or his importance to me.

Rederik Wood is a God, born of the natural materials of which he was to rule. As humanity (and furries) began to advance so much that the old Gods could not keep up with their millenniums old conservative ways, new Gods had to be made to replace the old ones when they retired, and moved to the afterlife permanently. Rederik was born to replace Demeter, an old Greek Goddess of Plants, Fertility, and the Harvest.

Rederik's abilities include, but are not limited to, the instantaneous creation, conjuring, and control of plants, manipulation of existing plants, revival of dead plants, ensuring a good harvest, or causing famine should he be displeased.

His body is made of Pacific Red Wood, his internal structure made of thick vines which he uses for locomotion by manipulating them with his spirit and psyche, both of which inhabit his body, but cannot be located or destroyed by any means in the cosmos. His vines are visible in his joints, and his flexible midsection. His hair is made of long and thick grass, as are his eyebrows, and beard. His mouth is little but a hole in his head, serving no purpose other than expressing emotion, as he speaks telepathically, his 'voice' really being his thoughts projected into his audience's heads. He can manipulate his face to make his mouth move however he wants, smiling, grimacing, or even lip-syncing his 'voice'. His eyes are a glowing mass of pure plant life-force, which broadcast his surroundings into his mysterious divine psyche.

Rederik's body is completely modular, he is able to manipulate it into anything he wants, and size, any shape, any plant. This is visible here with his elongated arms, which are usually not this long. He likes to adorn his body with plants, to display his power, and add color to his character. His left arm currently displays the beauty and benefit of plants, Wheat, Red Roses, and a Daisy decorate him on his 'sensitive side', while his right arm houses plants' dangers and defenses, Poison Oak and Poison Ivy, Horned Bramble Vines, and a Venus' Flytrap.

Rederik is a very benevolent divinity, believing always in the greater good, and sometimes pulls divine interventions to stop evils himself, even to the other Gods' dismay. doing such, he met a mortal Furry woman, Pepper, whom bore him two children, Shepp and Shepa, and she is his one true love, scoffing at the other Gods for raping and abandoning mortals with their bastard children, instead choosing to raise his children to replace Apollo and Artemis.
