2019 art, featuring Rufus.
For this one I gave him a slight redesign, the stripes on his back, arms and legs weren't part of his design in the past, although given how he's usually in a police uniform with long sleeves and pants, they wouldn't be visible in most cases anyways.

Too hot to handle, but easier to hold.
Now that I think about it, even after all these years, I never have explored what Rufus' personal life is like, if there's a lady (or guy) he comes home to after a day of chasing Charley around the city, or thinks about asking out but never works up the nerve to... I've always either drawn him in uniform, or seemingly living the bachelor life in some nondescript apartment setting.

Very true, as it stands he seems to be living the bachelor life, and doing just fine. Romance is something I can always explore later, I have some undeveloped Geoterran one-off character designs that could possibly work, a female skunk and raccoon come to mind, as does that one random grey male raccoon if I decide to pursue that route.
Or, for the sake of humor he could have a fling with Shelteena, who is over twice his height, or Daphne, who is just as tall as Shelteena but weighs twice as much, if he's really into the big girls that is! I was considering Henry or Bailey and Daphne eventually hooking up, though, and I don't think Rufus stands a chance if they decide to physically fight over a girl!
