Spent a couple hours messing with a few hundred morphs to get a relatively descent Female fox face. Kind of had to being the Original character (Daz foxy lady) was mainly human and the other morphs were pretty much big and blockey Which in other words were MEH!! phooey...

It's very interesting, but there's something about the lower jaw that doesn't quite look "right" to me, Mapper. Perhaps it's too "strong." There's too much of an indent between the upper jaw and the lower jaw--fluffy fur would cover that. And the ears seem to be set a little too far forwards. That might just be because of the ruff/mane. The pose is very nice.
I think neoteny might be the way to go with anthropomorphics. A somewhat shorter muzzle, generally less 'pointy' all around. I touched on this in a novel twenty years or so ago.
I showed this to my husband, Scott; He said he thinks you did a fine job, but the head looks a little too small in proportion to the body. He said "it's a tough call, because a head that's too big makes it look like a baby, but a head that's too small doesn't look right. Other than that, I think it looks really good." And since he's "the fox guy" I figured he knows. He added that it might be the perspective on the tail being so close to the camera that makes the head look a little small.
