had commissioned me to make a floofy bit of fun for him at FC in January, and I've taken a bit too long to make it, I think. Well, I was sick for over half a month, that might have something to do with it. *giggle*Anyway, I ate entirely too much fuzz while making this... If anyone hears a hacking, upchucking noise, it's just me, horking up a hairball beside Diva... *chuckle* So many pieces to this, my sewing machine almost refused to co-operate! But, it got done and I'm quite happy with the result. It does twist a bit, but this time, I couldn't really avoid it entirely: with all of those tiny pieces of white fur, the chance things would twist to one side increased with each piece! I'm happy it didn't do a full revolution with all of those little bits in there. Heh.
I considered shaving the fur a bit to accentuate the longer mane-hair that runs down the centre, but then, I'd lose that wonderful shine, so I left it alone. If I do shave it (at Kal's request), it'll still be wonderfully soft, the patterns will be more obvious, and the centre strip will really stand out, but he'll lose that soft shine this fur has.
Let me know what you'd like, and I'll do it. I'll ship this in a couple of days. >^__^<

Must say the colors came out absolutly perfect for this and the pattern looks exact to what i have on all my references so definitly a wonderful job on this and in plenty of time for AC just as promised =)
As far as the fur..in honesty I think you got it right as is and i would say leave it just as is since thats actually the most accurate on how it would be in truth. his fur is very long/thick and the patterning seems to show wonderful in the screenshots.

yep you had and its 100% fine being for one..it adds a slight shimmery effect (metallic accents are always aweesome) and Ive always pondered the idea of some silver mixed in but never been able to figure out how/where i wanted it..i can be so indecisive like that XD. I certainly cannot way to wander AC with that on! and of course..everyone will know who made it =)

I'd love to be able to go to AC sometime- it sounds like a blast. Anything that has up to four-thousand people wandering around has gotta be awesome. I've only been to three Cons that have those kinds of numbers: Worldcon and Further Confusion (went twice- though I'm not sure of FC actually gets more than two thousand bodies- at least four hundred fursuits, though, and that's sweet).
This is a longer tail, too, so it should work well with your greater height. I'm a short little person, so it actually hangs to my ankles and almost touches the floor. *chuckles*

Took me two days to make pattern, cut fabric and sew this beastie. Was finishing other commissions and overdue things before that, but my turnaround time is getting better! Yay! This one went surprisingly easy. Didn't give me anywhere as much trouble as Sedrin's tail did.
No "torpedo" tails in MY wares for folks! Heh. Yeah, it's not that hard to give fabric the right curve- you either do it in the pattern, or you put in little bitty pleats along the area you want to bend. Pattern is best for thick things like fur and pleats work well with things with a shorter pile, like velvets. Harder to hide seams in that, though, so I tend to use the curvy pattern for most of my tails, anyway. Pleats can work on long-pile fur- the fur hides them nicely if you pick out the hairs along the seams and comb, comb, comb. Works great for Husky type tails. which reminds me, I should post some of the random tails I made for FC...
I'll probably have to whine at the mate, and maybe make some money from my art and stuffs, too. I have this plan: send a lot of of art to a good lot of conventions- use that to pay for some of the expenses I incur while attending them (I doubt it would cover all of them, but hey, it's a portion Kani won't have to pay).
