I was bored and never attempted a actually gun related weapon before....seriously!! i loved making this thing. I played on my abstract concept of thought very well.
also much to my mega happiness i actually figured out how to apply glow effects in Kerkythea on glass based materials as per the crystal it is actually glowing!!
This took maybe 3 hours to make in Wings3D and 18 hours to render in Kerkythea which shocks me because whenever i do anything self illumination related the renderer takes a shit for atleast 1 1/2 o 2 days to finish rendering.
Anywho please enjoy.
Also if your wondering what a zapgun is. think Lazer beam gun and you have your gun.

oh you mean the brushed steel look. and the electricity flowing aroudn the crystal
believe it or not those are not realy textures but rather procedurals.
the brushed steel effect is attained by using a grey to darker grey marble procedural texture and the electricity on the crystal is a mSpots Procedural. I'm glad you liked my design cause i tend to start a whole line of these maybe even consider taking commissions for zapgun designs.

ahh yes you don't know about my machine that caused my powers.
It was called the M.A.D
Muscular Acceleration Device. essentially a growth machine designed to give the user powers to grow but temporarily.
Its powersource was a crystal i had created i thusly named the Axis crystal. apparently there was a miscalculation and the machine blew up with me still i nthe room. i wake up in whats left of my lab once Growtec to discover i'm a macro charmeleon with the power to get bigger in any way i see fit. i even learned how to use my powers on others like in say i can imitate DNA's poke *evil snicker*
