Always one of the funniest moments in the film, how it perfectly captures how kids feel about such displays of affection at such an age. Skippy being the little boy he still is reacts exactly how kids his age would to such, even if Marian was just playfully teasing him in their little pretend game of him being her beloved Robin Hood for her amusement. I have this rare storybook of Disney's Robin Hood that expands a little on the aftermath, that Skippy was so embarrassed by the gesture, he just ran home, much to his sisters' and friend Toby's amusement, while Marian just looked on in good humour, glad to have some new friends in Skippy and the other children.
