One of the aspects of anthropomorphic portrayals of animals that really gets to me on a deep level is they way young couples fall in love. It is a new and exciting experience at first, but when it gets to a certain stage, they have such a blissful look of heartfelt love. It is a kind of impossible love that I feel humans don't achieve because of our rational minds and capacity for language. ("What did you mean by that!"). It is an idyll and a fantasy and I am not naive enough to believe we can experience it completely but it does mean something that I want it nonetheless. My past physical relationships were satisfying enough in their own way, but I now realize what I really want and need to take chances to get it. The pursuit is also a part of my personal development in this stage of my life.

This is the key pathway to my interest in furrydom. For the most part, it is my intent to give clues to how we got here. Some of you may have had similar experiences or feelings and some have come from a different path. I am getting this item out of the way early because it is the most personal for me. Readers will find my future submissions more informative in nature.

***It is my intention to replace all the art presented with original work by FA artists (and a few special guests). If you are an artist and feel you can accomplish the proper tone of the piece, I welcome your submission. In this case, my requirements are that there is a convincing blissful love, it is a heterosexual couple of the same species in feral form of an attractive species. I don't want to waste an artist's time so if you want to submit a concept drawing, I will take a look. I am happy to pay for a successful result as I have sufficient funds for such a project.
