1 stick of butter
3 eggs
1 2/3 cups milk
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp salt
1 cup corn meal
2 1/3 cups flour
4 1/2 tsp baking powder

Preheat oven to 400. In a mixing bowl cream butter, sugar, eggs, and salt. Add the rest of the ingredients slowly while mixing, mixture may be slightly lumpy. Pour into greased 13x9x2 baking pan then bake on center rack for 22-27 minutes or until a toothpick can be inserted into the center and removed clean.
