Here Comes My Baby is a song written by Cat Stevens. It was first recorded and released as a single by The Tremeloes in January 1967, and became a hit in the UK, Canada, and U.S. It appeared on Stevens' album Matthew and Son, released in March 1967 (Stevens had recorded the song on February 1, 1967).
I personally went for the style of The Mavericks, because I think the brass and pedal steel guitar adds a lot to the already present gleeful feel.
