An audio sneak-peek of what I have in store for the future on Pokemon: Synthesis.

Takuya struggles against Aries after getting the upper-hand in a one-sided battle against Sparta and Reaper after triggering the Shadow State while trying to protect Avery.


Script:

(Takuya stand in front of Reaper and Sparta after triggering his Shadow State to save Avery after his arm gets broken in the fight. Reaper is on his knees, blood running from the Scyther-Splice's nostirls, while Sparta the Machamp-Splice is out cold on the ground)

Takuya (Thinking): It's unbelievable! The strength... The power... I could have ended this before it even started! So why did I Hesitate...? Why didn't I just start out using the Shadow State Before?

Aries (In Takuya's mind) : Is it not obvious? You were afraid.

Takuya: (Start feeling Aries trying to take over, as if the persona has gripped it's fingers on Takuya's spine) No... Not again... (Holds the sides of his head in pain)

Aries (In Takuya's mind) : Oh, Takuya... You are so deluded, so naieve... Do you really think you can just keep me locked inside forever?

Takuya: (Struggling, falling to his knees as he grimaces in pain) No... I'm not letting you take over... Get out of my head! Get out of my head!!

Aries (In Takuya's mind): Quit resisting me, boy! You are in the fight of your life, facing down two opponents at once that out-class you in your current state! Just look at them... (Forces Takuya to open an eye, looking at his opponents) Reaper and Sparta... Such idiots! They continue to follow that twit, Denzel! Without question! They do not have a drop of willpower in their souls... I can help you fight them. Let me out, and I can tear them apart limb from limb... Let me kill them...

Takuya: No...! (Forces his eye shut again) Stop it... STOP!

Aries (In Takuya's thoughts): You can't deny me any more, boy! Let me out, RELEASE ME!! I am now a part of you, a part you cannot continue to hide from the world, or your precious friends anymore!

(Takuya, while preoccupied with Aries does not notice Reaper rushing at him until it is too late. Reaper punches Takuya in the gut hard with a closed fist, knocking the air out of him)

Reaper: Damn you , Takuya! You made me bleed!

(Reaper unleashes a storm of rapid punches, ending it with a powerful kick that sends Takuya flying into a rock wall. Takuya slides down from the wall, and onto his knees. He kneels there for a few seconds, silent)

Avery: (Rushes up to Takuya) Takuya, are you alright?! Oh, for god's sake say something!

(Aries, now in control laughs in a low tone for a few seconds as he stands up. Avery's eyes widen, now realizing what is going on. He is frozen to the spot with fear as he remembers the Colosseum fight in the lab)

Aries: No... Takuya isn't here right now. (Powers up Hyper Mode, the Shadow Aura engulfing him as he opens his eyes to reveal their changed black and red color) ARIES HAS COME OUT TO PLAY!!!

(Aries delivers a hard punch to Avery's gut, knocking the breath out of him instantly. Avery reels from the hit for a few seconds before falling to the ground, passing out as Aries lets out a growl of sick pleasure)

Aries: That was for locking me away the first time, Avery. Now we're even...

Reaper: (In shock) What the...?! What the hell is this!? If you're not Takuya, then who are you?! How the hell did you come into being...?!

Aries (Turning to face Reaper): Isn't it obvious? I was born when you gave Takuya this scar, this X-shaped cross on his chest... (Motions with his hand to the scar on the right side of his chest) You're the one that created me, the one who brought me into this world... And for that I thank you, Reaper.

(Reaper's eyes widen in horror as Aries continues)

Aries: Despite that fact, however, I feel no gratitude towards you. You're actually becoming nothing more than a bore... (Aries then spreads his arms tauntingly) So come on... Entertain me!

(Aries lets out a dark, demoralizing cackle as the screen shows him standing in front of Reaper, the Shadow Aura radiating off of him as the scene fades out with the words: To be continued...)
