Soooo, me and 
crazygameguy were (well, mostly CCG) worldbuilding their Cedar/space/Zako setting, and we came up with a tank design for their Zakos to crew! The Zakos made it themselves based on on old info, movies, footage, documents, etc of old soviet tanks.
Initial basis was the T-62, but I've thrown in other features as well--mufflers form M46/M47 Patton, cupolas form M1 Abrams, running gear a mix of Patton tanks and soviet...it's been far too long since I've drawn vehicles.

Anyway, they sorta made this tank on their own, based on old footage, documents, etc of older tanks. I made it a sorta mix of features; initially based on T-62 (I rather like the T-62, eheh) but I didn't wanna just copy it, so gave it an IS-3 pike nose, M47 Patton mufflers, a weird mix of Patton and Soviet running gear, American rangefinders, etc.
As far as armour....eh, probably it would have composite of some sort, but I have no idea how to figure out the effective thickness for that XD THe turret ERA? I've never drawn ERA before so it's not as good as it probably actually would be.
We figured this would be one of the more common models, since there would be thousands of tank crews. I figured this would be a good example of a smaller, more lightweight design that would be able to serve more areas than a heavier vehicle. As it is a space setting, and some planets might have tougher enemies, I may also consider drawing up a larger, heavier MBT based on IS/T-10 tanks.
