City of Heroes started on April 27, 2004
my account first went active June 2004
I play for 6 months with my friends... then they all quit to go to a different game. I played on for 3 more months before giving up and moving to their newest obsession... which they quit to go BACK to Anarchy-Online.com
I never did manage to get back to COH.
well, after a long time I got into a discussion with an artist friend (
tatious ) about my City Of Heroes characters. the only one I could really remember was BackPack Healer. She was a Defender Healer, that had flight and electrical blasts.
she was a lot of fun to play. I started a group the "Paragon-city Defenders Association - Because Everyone Needs a P.D.A."
it took about a week to max out the rolls of the group to 75 players! (the most allowed at that time)
as a group we didn't do things together very often, mainly we helped out other teams, and lent a hand to each other when needed. I handed over the reigns when I knew I was leaving, and I hope it's still going, but alas.
after reminiscing about it for a while, I kinda got the urge to restart my account, and reinstall the game.
I was wondering if anyone that reads this still plays, or would be interested in playing?

You might be interested that http://www.kickstarter.com/projects.....city-of-titans is happening. The old City of Hero's community never gave up and it looks like they will be making a spiritual successor. They are working on this game for free AFTER their jobs, the money is for tools like Autodesk Maya and 3dStudiomax. 130k since it opened this morning and going strong currently averaging nearly $140 per backer. Spread the word :3.
NCsoft killed the game servers, they did not kill the game in people's hearts. City of Hero's will arise once more, this time from the community that loved it :D.
