I don't like using photography, but I think, this is probably the best way to explain it.

So as I was saying in the previous example talking about the distortions of reality, well this picture is what I mean.

The Base Reality is the reality in which you are in at that exact moment. While Each numbered arrow is a distortion of the Base, from "your" base reality. Like I said before, as these numbers grow farther and farther apart from one another, each one changes how the base reality is perceived, until what you understand as the base doesn't make sense and or exist anymore.

Arrow 1 shows that there is a blurriness, but you can still grasp that there is still a phone in the picture.
Arrow 2 Is nothing but a black blur, you can grasp the shape, but what it is you don't know, there aren't enough details to piece together what it originally was.
Arrow 3 Represents the complete distortion of the Base reality, you can't even make out the phone, it's just a void, the image is so corrupted that it no longer makes sense.

In the Nature of my book, it's easier to explain that Earth, human Earth, is the base reality, while Ecorein is Arrow 2. There are some semblances between the two but they are still greatly different.
