Moments of calming peace are often my favorites when I'm in a relationship, as I can be pretty anxious when emotions are involved! But something different is in the air as I've gotten closer with Gratus. We've known each other for a long time, and it's wonderful being able to say that those moments of peace are accompanied by many moments of laughter and joy!

Even over the phone, he manages to make me laugh harder than anyone else I know. I love talking through hypothetical skits with him and bouncing ideas back and forth. Often times it just results in silliness, but more often than not, there's some great ideas in our conversations!

When he came back from vacation and I finally got to see him again, I made the goofiest, yet realest and most joyful smile I've ever made in my life. I've never been so incredibly happy to see someone. And in the moments that we're apart, I know that when I see him again, I'll be so excited to see him, and I'll give him the biggest, tightest hug I can, looking in his eyes with the bliss and joy this image captures. <3
