Leaf and its Simplicity
How can a leaf have a simple life?
It absorbs energy, giving food
To its father.
It endures the harsh weather
Of ever coming storm
It loses some of its siblings
But it shed no tears.
However when fall comes
It dries and it dies.
Letting one ounce of its energy.
As it drifted down
To me.
But I do know
Why a leaf deserve this gift.
To help provide
The creator of giving its life.
