Hazel's absolutely right. I drive a stretch of highway that has a speed limit of 55 mph. If there's someone in front of me, they're going 45 mph. If there's no one in front of me but someone behind me, they're going 70. LOL

I run into the same thing pretty much every day of the week on a certain road too. Either someone is in front of me doing 10 under or someone tailgating me while I'm doing 10 over. My parents are horrendous tailgaters I cant stand riding with them anymore.

Bottom left; Hazel on the road. I think in the State of Connecticut, you're required to have a 'Pusher Truck' help you keep the pace (20 MPH over the posted speed limit) at all times. So glad I commute at unusual times.

Sometimes I think the trucks are trying to use your tail wind for a little reduction in aerodynamic drag. It's probably one of my biggest peeves driving on the highway.
