Von Plüschbären gefangen genommen...
Here we have one little missfortune of Fennrer Valkodlak and his crew of the Howling Cerberus. While visiting the forest moon Endor, Fennrer and the buff Garwaff run into a hunting party of Ewoks. Garwaff instantly takes a liking and those little furballs and so they find themselves in some kind of "peril". Garwaff allready knows how to "take revenge" for the humiliating captivity^^

As the Empire learnt the Ewoks aren't to be underestimated even if they might be small, fluffy and cute. They do after all manage to hold their own against Duloks and the giant predators of Endor and they are rather fierce carnivores themselves. I imagine that the Shistavanen's rather intimidating appearance and particularly if Garwaff finding them adorable had been a little too friendly they might have felt threatened.
It does look like Fennrer and Garwaff might end up getting roasted and eaten though with one of the Ewoks seeming to have taken a liking to Fennrer I think they might perhaps be able to convince their captors of not eating them. Shistavanen being predators themselves by descent might not be so different in mindset so an understanding might be achieved even with the language barrier.
I imagine that a hug from Garwaff would be rather like getting hugged by a Wookiee, since with his height and build I think he'd be almost the same size and with a similar level of strength. I expect though with Ise and that he likely gives her hugs on occasion he knows his own strength so if he did get his 'revenge' he wouldn't end up accidentally crushing any Ewoks to death.
I think it will probably end up that Garwaff does manage to break out of his bonds with his strength and he does end up hugging some Ewoks but they realise he's essentially harmless. The Shistavanen end up no longer being the dinner but get to join the feast as guests, Fennrer managing to endure the attention of the Ewok whom has taken a liking to him.
Garwaff might have a good time playing with the younger Ewoks, giving piggy back rides, hugging them gently and maybe pretending to be a 'Gorax' and by the time Fennrer is thinking they should leave he'll have to extract a happy Garwaff from a pile of adoring Ewok cubs.

Breaking free of his bindings in the end, Garwaff's 'revenge' was terrible and fearsome, one, two and three Ewoks in turn scooped up and engulfed in his strong arms, the hug warm and comfortable, engulfed in soft fur and a tight but not crushing embrace, cold nose and fluff of a beard nuzzling them. One by one set gently on the ground, hugged and nuzzled until they'd lost their senses to the warmth and fluffiness.
Cute and adorable as the fluffballs are, they are predators themselves surviving in an environment of creatures much bigger than themselves. Pack tactics and weight of numbers can overcome a much larger foe and Garwaff could only take on one at a time before getting swamped by numbers.
One or two or three, clinging to an ankle and it was enough to get him a little off balance, loop a rope around his ankle and pull him to one knee. More of them dogpiling him now, on his shoulders and atop his head, another rope or two, one arm caught and another, enough leverage and he was pulled down and onto his back.
To slay such a large beast as Garwaff, it would take concentrating on the vulnerable areas, the belly and the throat, a dozen or more little fuzzy hands giving the big Shistavanen the equivalent of belly rubs and chin scritches, others finding those spots behind the ears.
Fluffing and scritching until Garwaff was increasingly panting and his right leg kicking about uncontrollably, until finally he was completely tired out and there were a great many 'yub yubs' as the triumphant Ewoks danced around the fallen behemoth.
Ultimately all a misunderstanding, the wolfmen friendly and harmless if a little over exuberant, though they'd have learnt not to mess with Ewoks. The other Shistavanen was set free of his bonds, though with Garwaff by now slumbering peacefully it was a case of spend however long waiting for him to wake up or somehow drag his deadweight back to the Howling Cerberus.
