Not only that, that lost against a high profile lawsuit that essentially anyone can join in and drag out now, costing them millions in legal fees.
Enough to take down Patreon? I don't think so, but they are hemorrhaging money trying to look woke. It may be inevitable going forward that either the site itself goes down, or our content gets banned for being too furry.

Also Freedom of Speech only applies in the context of government censorship. A website owned by a civilian entity is not subject to any issues with what they can suppress or not so long as it does not cross over into discrimination and violation of, say, the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution.
It's not so much discrimination, but more having to do with some kind of Old TOS versus new TOS with Patreon not exactly telling folks about update or banning there of and if wanting of settled it having to do with some kind of arbitration. Details along with those lines. Major artist along with 72 followers ( last count. likely more ) sued and judge ruled that Patreon has pay arbitration fees and court costs ( something that was under old TOS ) in each case with it mini a minimum of 10k per arbitration. This is just the start of the suit. Looking at minimum probably cost by patreon of 1 mil per user sueing them just to 'start the case'. Someone can chime in it more exact details. Saw snippets of Tim Pool on it.
^ Anime covered it well here. It's a lot of legalize but essentially Patreon is now facing the consequences of their actions, getting sued and losing. There is no signs of this slowing down either.
Basically anytime a platform decides they are now a publisher with intent to suppress certain content that is not clearly defined prior, you get in hot legal waters.

I heard about the lawsuit and honestly, I say "It's about damn time" Patreon has a bad discriminatory history with the furry community which only looks even more messed up when you look into the times they've shut down other discriminatory users for doing the same thing but with stuff like race and religion.
