These people were initially based loosely around DND's Firbolgs but after a while morphed into a different thing. They're now just "Giants", though they and Isnishi (snow elves) are about the same size at roughtly 8ft (~2.5m) in height on average.

There are three main tribes and they each follow/revere a specific animal diety: Elk, Wolf, and Tiger. The Wolf and Tiger tribes, which are nomadic, live along the Steppe of Giants, while the Elk tribe lives in semi-permanent settlement in a small strip of forest along the edges of the Twilight Mountains. The three tribes could almost be mistaken for being unrelated peoples due to their appearances, which take after the diety that they worship: such as Isarrel's wolf-ish look here.

They traditionally practice nature- and wild-magic with druidism and shamanism being their main teachings. Due to this, many Giants have the ability to shapeshift into animals, though only a few can sustain the form for very long. The Lesi (nature-magic elves) learned their druidic craft from the Giants and they consider each other kin in that regard.

There are humans, oq-ruc (orcs), and elves, who also live on the Steppe and intermingle and influence each others' cultures.
