Oh my god I remember giving my little babies a bath and they hated me for a week D:. I think it was Syn who kept squeaking angrily at me while I soaped him up, as if he was trying to tell me that he was planning to kill me in my sleep.

Ahhh I love rats.

THIS IS SO TRUE. I usually have to hold my rat to get him to bathe. As long as he has hands on him he's calm, but if you put him down... FLYING NINJA LEAP!

This is exactly why I have billions of scratches on my arms. My rats flip even if it's a puddle of water geez.

mine used to freak out just seeing the cage so they'd claw me to get to the cage. Now I have scars from scratches on my hand that didn't heal right
