Submitted for a wallpaper contest over on DA.
I saw some beautifully lit leaves on a walk one morning(ish-noon y'all know I can't wake up early during the summer D: ) and could not resist painting it. And in the magical mythical place I live called Canada, we have all sorts of interesting creatures hiding in the forests :3
Having fun with a looser style this time - I've been struggling a bit with perfectionism recently in my larger works, so this was a refreshing break in that I let myself go a little crazier with brushstrokes/choosing colors. :la:
